Mother Earth

O Mother Earth, speak to me
Tell me things I need to see
Show me what my ignorant self has hid from my spirit
Open my eyes for me and let me see what damage my ego has created around me
Open my heart and let the pain flow, until it’s empty of sadness
And fill it with new light and happiness
 
O Mother Earth, your wisdom comes to me at times when I speak to your never ending energy of
life
You come to me like a wave of sea flooding my thoughts and bringing out the senses of true
spirit
I am choked up with tears and pain as I view things from a distance
How strong the ego can be to overtake the mind
 
O Mother Earth, I ask for energies of my spirit to grab on to you with all its strength
Hold me like a baby as I cry in your arms, comfort me and let me get strong again

I will face my demons and I will see my past mistakes
I will forgive myself for what I’ve done, and only then, I can move on
I will learn the lessons as I go through life; my body will change, as I get older
But my spirit will only get wiser, my purpose of being clearer
One day I will become one with you Mother, as I will be a wind that flows freely in the air
I will be waves that rise so high and fall to shore, I will be rain that sooths the earth
I will be free at last and right here with you, O Mother Earth
